The third edition of the Malans of South Africa is the result of more than 30 years of research by three Malan researchers, namely. Hercules Malan, Daniel Gerhardus Malan and Jacob Daniel Malan.
This thirteenth genealogy in the series comprises four volumes. Volume 1 deals with the history of the Malan family and consists of three chapters, namely. The Malan family in Piedmont; The Luberon branch of the Malan family; and the South African Malan family: Jacques and his children. Volume 2 contains an alphabetical register; a register of spouses; and other indexes. Volumes 3 and 4 contain the genealogical register of the South African Malan family.
