The book Huguenots at the Cape by Philippa van Aardt and Elaine Ridge tells through thorough research and sophisticated analysis the tale of the persecution of the Huguenots in France and the settlement of approximately three hundred of them at the Cape in the late seventeenth century. It consists of 259 pages and also has to fold-out pages and also has a Register with a complete list of all Huguenots who came to the Cape, an indication of where they came from and where they settled.
