The Bulletin of the Huguenot Society of South Africa is published annually and contains articles which focus on the history, heritage and genealogy of the Huguenots, and specifically the Huguenots who settled in South Africa. Articles on the family history and genealogy of Huguenot surnames appear in the bulletin. A CD containing all issues of the Bulletin since the first issue of 1963, until 2004, has been made available.
Since 1994 the Bulletin focused in consecutive years on some or other Huguenot family. The following surnames have since been featured: Marais (1994), Cilliers (1995), Viljoen (1996), Joubert (1997), Malherbe (1998), Cronjé (1999), Retief (2001), Fourie (2003), Buys (2004), Rossouw/Rousseau (2005), Mouton (2006), Fouché (2007), Nel (2008), Vivier (2009), Du Plessis (2010) and Bruwer (2011). The 2002 issue contains papers which were delivered at the 3rd Intenational Huguenot Conference which was held in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek during 2002. Other Huguenot surnames which are often featured include Jordaan, Malan, De Villiers and Naudé.
