The De Villiers Family genealogy in South Africa Vol 1 + 2 was originally published in 1997, and is based on research started by the pioneer South African genealogist Christoffel C. de Villiers, and continued by the legendary prof Con de Villiers. The latter left his research to the Huguenot Memorial Museum in Franschhoek, where the monumental work was completed by Juna Malherbe and Alet Malan. The original print was soon sold out, but has now been made available on compact disc format and contains details of more than 20 000 De Villiers names and more than 10 000 spouses. The CD is in PDF format which facilitates searches to particular individuals or other names.
