The Cellier, Celliers, Cillie, Cillié, Cilliers genealogies of dr Ben Cilliers and Mariana Olivier consists of two volumes. It is publication no 7 in the Genealogical Publication Series of the Huguenot Society of South Africa. The primary purpose of this publication, which was started in 2005, was to include mainly unpublished research in a single publication. The two volumes contain details of 11 723 descendants of the progenitors Josué Cellier and Elisabeth Couvret; 148 descendants of LASCELLES- and ZEELIE-families who changed their surname to Celliers, Cillie and Cilliers; and 656 descendants who cannot be linked to any of the family trees. The alphabetic index contains 20 730 names of descendants, spouses, and inlaws. The price of the publications (two volumes) is R500 (plus R80 for postage and packing domestically, and R680 abroad).
